It’s a hot spring day, a few days out from summer. Kailani's sitting on the deck catching some rays, when the sliding glass door opens. “Hey, I figured you’d be out here.” Kailani looks over to see her twin brother, “Hey Kam.” “Gotta get some sun, huh?” “Yup.” Kamden pulls a chair over, sitting next to Kailani, “Summer makes me miss Hawaii a little more.” “Really? ‘Cause winter makes me miss it.” “Well summer reminds me of it, winter is completely different.” Kailani nods, “I can see that.” she sighs, “I miss it too.” “Dad was so young when he left the island, do you think he felt the same?” “Probably.” Kailani sits up, faceing her brother, “Do you feel weird missing them?” “Mom and Dad?
