Spotlight: Doll #1- Saige Copeland

My very first doll I received for christmas in 2013 gifted to me by my Nana. This was the second year in a row that I had asked for a doll for christmas, the previous year I had asked for McKenna. This year I had asked for Saige and I got her. I was so excited. 5 out of the 7 cousins got an AG doll that year. I got Saige, my sister got Julie, one cousin got Josephina, one got Molly, and one waited for GOTY 2014 to be announced and ended up getting her. At first Saige didn't have a set personality, she just become whoever I needed in the moment. For my birthday in 2014 I got Picasso and a few of Saige's outfits, she then became my horse girl and that hasn't shifted since. 

As the first doll, Saige is the head of the household, taking care of paperwork, vetting everyone who wants to join the group, and more. She also owns more horses now, a fleabitten stallion named Picasso, a little spicy red headed filly named Apple Pie, a chill liver chestnut gelding named Chocolate Chip, a stunning grey Lipizzaner mare named Snowflake, and a black quarter horse stallion named Wild Spark. She also has a super smart black and white border collie named Rembrandt.

Saige is closest to Skyler, Logan, Estella, and Florence. She met Logan at a holiday event where they both volunteered to dress up as Santa's Helpers for the Christmas cabin. The two immediately clicked and have been friends ever since. She met Skyler at a local diner, she needed a place to stay and Saige was lonely living alone for the first time. So she asked Skyler if she wanted to live with her and that's how the Blog By Dolls Household canonically started. Her younger sister Maisie also lives in the household. 

Saige identifies as a cisgender woman, heteroromantic, and asexual. She is dating Logan. Her favorite color is teal and favorite movie is Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmerian. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know about her!

  Wren sits expectedly on the wooden swing on the front porch. It’s an unusually warm day for mid March, 70°F, sunny clear skies. The world is starting to wake up after a long winter’s slumber. Spotlight: Doll #32- Yasmine Williams

 The plan was to finish up these dolls intros before I added anymore new dolls to the collection, but that's not how it worked out. I asked for a AG outfit for my birthday, but didn't want to ask for a doll because I didn't want anyone spending that much money on me. But my Nana ended up giving me a 125 dollar AG gift card so I used it to get Makena. Her unboxing video is up on my youtube! All my links are on my Socials page here on the blog. Yasmine is a fashionista. She loves styling and posting her ootd. She hopes to become a fashion designer. She grew up a few houses down from Wren and Lark. Yasmine is loosely based off both the Makena character from AG and also one of my best friends growing up. Yasmine loves bright bold colors, lime green being her current fav. but her favorite color switches up often.  Yasmine is a cis woman and being my newest doll I haven't settled on what her sexuality is, I'm thinking pan maybe? Spotlight: Doll #31- Quinnie Blum

 I got Quinnie from my cousin for Christmas. She was one of her dolls and I was so happy to finally have a Marie-Grace doll! Quinnie is a huge true crime junkie. She loves learning about true crime and trying to help move unsolved cases along. She wants to be a forensic scientists. She grew up in New York in a small apartment with her dads, Amos and Daniel. She has Gastroesophageal reflux disease that caused scarring of her esophagus, which in turn caused a narrow esophagus. The narrow esophagus caused Esophageal dysphagia, she now eats her meals through a nasogastric tube. Quinnie is a cis woman and is currently questioning her sexuality. She has two dogs, Yarrow and Basil. She doesn't live in the BBD house. Any quinnie questions? Ask away!
