Spotlight: Doll #25- Nora Peláez

 One of my friends on AGIG gifted me their rewards that they weren't able to use in time. I'd been wanting Truly Me 89 since she released, and she was on sale at the time, so of course I had to buy her. My dad held her captive till christmas though, I was very disappointed that I had to wait for her despite buying her myself. Christmas morning I saw the doll shaped box and sarcastically said "Wow I have no clue what could be in here!" 

Nora was named after the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, I didn't want to name her Noaa/Noah, so I squinted at the NOAA logo and decided that the first A could be seen as a R, so her name is Nora. Nora is obsessed with weather. She especially finds comfort in thunderstorms, which is quite odd for her considering she had horrible storm anxiety as a child. So much so that her parents even blocked the Weather Channel from their cable TV. Over the years she's had a complete 180 in how she watches the weather channel, no longer filled with fear but instead with admiration. Nora struggles with Seasonal Affective Disorder, her's is fall-onset.

Nora is a cis woman and, doesn't have a label for her sexuality, she knows she's queer but she's comfy not labeling it. Nora has a grey tabby cat named Praline.

Spotlight: Doll #32- Yasmine Williams

 The plan was to finish up these dolls intros before I added anymore new dolls to the collection, but that's not how it worked out. I asked for a AG outfit for my birthday, but didn't want to ask for a doll because I didn't want anyone spending that much money on me. But my Nana ended up giving me a 125 dollar AG gift card so I used it to get Makena. Her unboxing video is up on my youtube! All my links are on my Socials page here on the blog. Yasmine is a fashionista. She loves styling and posting her ootd. She hopes to become a fashion designer. She grew up a few houses down from Wren and Lark. Yasmine is loosely based off both the Makena character from AG and also one of my best friends growing up. (this story is 13+) A yawn echoes down the hall as the sun creeps into the kitchen, Carson’s sitting at the island with a bowl of cereal.
